What began on 1 April 1994 as a one-man operation in a small village in the Upper Palatinate, had developed over the course of 22 years into a leading, specialized in the restoration of historic Volkswagen company.
The “Bug Box” grew and to get the necessary space we moved to new and bigger premises twice.
We realized countless exciting projects and restorations. That was followed by numerous television appearances and around 60 vehicle where featured in magazines around the world.
Equally widespread as the magazines with our vehicles are the cars themselves. Our creations made it until Japan, USA, England, Spain, Saudi Arabia.
To deliver perfection, passion and individualism was our goal from the very beginning our goal.
After many restorations of european vehicles in the late 90s the first imports from the United States came to us.
We soon realized the potential of these rust free cars and the more and more cars were shipped over from California.
We are working with most of our partners to date and they still provide us with the quality we require.
The purchase of a classic car is the real trick. Rust free and well preserved, original cars are now more in demand than ever and the increase in value is higher than on any restored vintage car.
Over the last 15 years we got a very good reputation for finding such original, unrestored, well preserved jewels.
Recognized worldwide as specialists for historic VW vehicles our expertise and detailed knowledge is now very much in demand.

Early 2016, we decided to take a drastic step and to reduce the company size and resettle.
“Back to the Roots” is the motto.
That brought us back to our core competencies, auto sales and consulting and drove back the supply of spare parts.
The area of workshop was reduced and work was outsourced to long-term partners.
Thus, we now have more time to focus on the unique vehicles that we can offer you week by week.
The quality of our performance is reflected in our customers vehicles again!
